Zhukov blends in

Zhukov, zonked out IV: Now with added Ayesha!

More from the visit.

Ayesha plays fetch

If you're wondering about the change in bedroom, this was filmed at Alan's parents' house, where we visited with cats in tow last week. Also please note my first attempt at editing/titles/etc.

Ayesha tries to help with the bathroom redecoration...

Ayesha opens the under-stairs cupboard door

Only one small step from here to WORLD DOMINATION!

Creative sleeping positions

They've grown quite a bit lately.

Basket cases

How much fun can two cats have with one laundry basket?

Zhukov, zonked out III; now with video

Alan's redecorating the bathroom and putting in a new floor, so the bathmat wound up on the bed last weekend. Zhukov promptly parked himself on it for about six hours.

Kitten combat

Please note their new bling-- we've given them collars and tags, which after an initial period of doubt they have decided are quite chic.

You are *healed*!

This one's just crying out to be a lolcat.

Lazy Sunday

Lazy Sunday, just chilling on the bed, and OMG WRESTLING MATCH.

Leaping and pouncing

Zhukov gives a display of acrobatic leaping, followed by yet more cat wrestling with Ayesha. The pink mouse ("Cartoonhead") and rabbit ("Miffy") are more new toys-- they've gotten quite into playing with small stuffed animals.

Bovvered

We got given a toy mouse (now named "Winston") for the cats. We didn't realise at first it was a catnip mouse, until the stoned behaviour gave it away. Here's some of it.

Playing fetch

Their new favourite game: chasing kitchen paper rolls down the stairs.

Cats and the rain

Chucked it down today, so we thought we'd introduce the cats to the concept. They didn't like it.

Zhukov and the venetian blinds

Still haven't caught Ayesha in the act, but her brother's now starting to get in on the action:

Quieter moments

Just to prove that they don't spend all their time running around like demons:

Singing to Zhukov

Alan caught me singing to Zhukov the other day and insisted on recording/posting it. The song is a French children's song, the lyrics translate to "There was a little lawyer/his little cat sat on his arms."

Give it some tongue!

Ayesha on my shoulder

She likes doing this. Not sure why.
